Artisan boutique in a special mountain hideaway
✓ Absolute gem in a magically tranquil village, surrounded by mountains. It combines the simple rusticity of a classic refuge, with a bohemian elegance that is deeply chilled-out. Fabrizio is creating a very special haven high above Chiavenna - with excellent, delicious al fresco local cuisine to match. Even a lightning storm seemed romantic, and the stiff walk up through the woods just made the hammocks beneath the chestnut trees more relaxing, and the food taste even better.

Great experience
✓ Beautiful location, worth it for this alone. The hotel is in a very old town on the mountain where cars are not allowed. Very nice experience if you normally live in a modern city. The rooms are spacious and cosy. The host was very nice, we arrived at about 22.00 because of getting caught in the rain, and he took good care of us with food and drink. The breakfast was also good with regional products. All in all it was a great experience.
✗ The hotel is quite a drive up the mountain (not a negative for us.) Also a bit of a walk from the parking.
