beautiful location but horrible mosquitos and WiFi, difficult location
✓ the staff were very kind and attentive. The breakfast and restaurant were really good. The views were beautiful.
✗ BRING MOSQUITO REPELLENT!! They don’t inform you that the hotel is on a protected land and there are mosquitos EVERYWHERE. We stayed during the low mosquito season and it was still a lot. I’m allergic so I bring repellent everywhere but they should inform people when they book!!! It’s so bad that the beds are protected by mosquito netting. Also it is FAR from town. To get to the hotel from the pier/town, you need to walk 15 minutes and then wait for a shuttle to drive 10 minutes to the hotel. It’s fine if you’re going to just stay at the hotel, but note that the hotel was 1 restaurant and the menu stays the same. Also the WiFi was terrible.
