Comfortable short stay in Gothenburg

✓ Breakfast included in the stay and very nice, clean rooms. They also showed the soccer World Cup when we asked :)

✗ Parking at the property was expensive

✗ But the room was bad. Filled with unnecessary stuff. For example, iron hooks for hanging clothes. Birds stool in the window. wood tools Extra folding bed.

Tired hotel but friendly staff

✓ Realtively big room for me as a single in a double room. If we'd had been four in there (as you could transform the room into a family room) it would have been crowded. The burger in the restaurant was nice and the staff were all friendly. The hanging system in the room is kind of fun and nifty to easily hang up things. Breakfast was totally fine. Good sound insulation I think as I wasn't disturbed by sound from other guests or outside traffic. I was first put in a dda room, which wasn't ideal but ok. But when some drilling started in a room nearby I went down and asked to be moved. The friendly woman in reception fixed it and gave me a new room in another part of the building so that was nice.

✗ The hotel feels a bit tired and cheap. The pool is cold and the whole pool area feels very boring with the room itself not particularly warm and only two metal chairs to sit on. Mould along the edge of the pool. Small, thin towels and no slippers. The bed is ok but tiny pillows and you get a duvet for a single bed in a double bed. My bedroom was freezing at first (even hours after I had closed the open window) and I couldn't find a climate control, only radiators that I turned up. Went to bed with two duvets on. Woke up in the morning and the room was quite warm and very stuffy! Checked the radiator buy it wasn't that warm. But was no oxygen left in the room! Bathroom is ok but feels very basic and boring. All over decor of the hotel feels a bit dated, it definitely needs an uplift!
