✓ I've been traveling for 1 year and this is one of those places where you just feel like at home, therefore I stayed for 1 week. The hotel is owned and managed by a lovely very polite lady and her helpers. Most rooms are in the 2nd and 3rd floor with great ventilation, lots of light and lovely views. The location was perfect for me, only a few minutes and you are at one of the nicest parts of the lake, the road is not busy so don't worry about noise pollution and there are a few options of good restaurants to eat right next door. You can also eat breakfast at the hotel which was very convenient and affordable. The rooms and the common areas are impeccable. There is plenty of room to sit outside and inside. I had to do some paperwork so the living room area was perfect to sit and have a few office days. I enjoyed very much my stay, it is one of those places where you wish you can come back and enjoy the peace and comfort.
✓ Very cute place with lots of pots and plants and multiple options to sit indoor and outdoor. The owners are very friendly. It's not worth to book a room with lake view because there is basically no lake view. The only negative thing has been the ants in the badroom but in general I'd totally recommend to stay with them!
✓ Great location very friendly owners!
✓ We had a great stay at the Expeditor. The rooms are very nice and the people are very gründlich and helpful.
✓ Wonderful guesthouse with lovely host. The room was clean and comfortable, and the views from the balcony and dining area onto the lake and Royal Bath were stunning. Highly recommended!
✓ The host was incredibly warm and kind, providing valuable suggestions for exploring Kandy. I stayed on the 3rd floor, which offered a great view of the lake. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, and the balcony added an extra touch of charm. Highly recommended!
✓ It was a short walk to the lake, temples and city centre. Mrs Sumane catered for my dietary requirements beautifully and her breakfasts were delicious. It was a convenient place to arrange hiking in the Knuckles Ranges as the Expeditor company office is in the Guesthouse. I was welcomed warmly by Mrs Sumane and any requests I had were taken onboard. I have no hesitation in recommending this guesthouse.
✓ My room was spacious and would have windows on two sides, which lead to a terrasse with view (in one direction to the lake). The common area is cozy and invites to chill there (unfortunately I never had the time to do so ;). I had interesting, quite honest talks with the houselady- she was caring, gave me precious recommendations and organized transportation/day tours according to my wishes. Within 30 minutes after my arrival they would have organized me in the office downstairs a two day hike for the day after. Amazing! It was just a 20’ walk to the center along the lake. The area is lively and has to offer some food options just around the corner.
