✓ The Barn is beautiful and steeped in history. Beautifully presented with artwork and furniture which is really comfortable and very relaxing to be in. Pretty and spacious garden to enjoy with or without a dog, mine loved it!! Off road parking a bonus which adds to an overall stressfree stay. Quiet and private accommodation which enabled a great sense of having got away from it all.

Gorgeous location for a long relaxing break away!

✓ Great location (for the moors, village pub and gorge), comfortable bed,Grand piano(if you can play?) Dog friendly, lovely log burner.

✗ Only comment is a few cobwebs around...but it is s barn!

✓ Lydford is the perfect base from which to explore Dartmoor, and Townend Barn is perfectly located within Lydford! Tania and Nick were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable.
