Fantastic location, stylish stay with friendly, helpful staff!
✓ A really lovely boutique hotel in the centre of a historic town, with plenty to see and do close by. The beach front and harbour were less than 10 mins walk, with some really beautiful restaurants and shops close by. The pool had sun all day until 4/5pm :-) Even though we were in the centre of the old town, the hotel and pool area was super quiet and relaxing! The cleaners came every day and did a great job. The breakfasts were also amazing and fresh. Poached eggs being a favourite! Nothing was ever too much. Very friendly staff and one member even delivered a postcard for me on his way home that evening!
✗ The bathroom was a little small and the shower was hand held, where we were unable to attach it to the wall. We did ask for it to be fixed but no one came. It was still a lovely room, just a little disappointed with that.

✓ Beautiful room. Excellent location. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. Sparkling pool with sun lounges, outdoor umbrellas and comfy cushions ... Idyllic place to relax.
✗ My room, beautiful as it was, opened out directly onto the pool and patio area which is a main thoroughfare. The problem I had was in getting natural light into my room while still maintaining privacy. The wooden door is very wide and cannot be left open. The window is shuttered but has no sheer curtain so opening the shutters felt like letting the whole world into my room. My room became more of a wondrous cavern retreat! To be fair, I didn't mention this to management so there may have been a solution. Certainly all staff were genuinely keen to make my stay a perfect one!
