Situated on the cliffs of Oia, Ducato Di Oia boasts magnificent Aegean Sea and volcano views. Μost rooms feature a private indoor or outdoor heated plunge pool.

✓ Good views & good location however the tree in front of the room needs to be trimmed down to expose the good view
✗ The hotel needs to inform us about the path leading to the hotel/room in more details. It is impossible to find the hotel for the new comers if don’t make phone calls to your staff. The porter fees need to be informed in advance too.
✓ It was a great experience, there was a little problem in the middle, but the staff quickly helped us solve it. Our room was lucky enough to be upgraded to a honeymoon suite which was really nice. There are also many types of breakfast, which will be delivered to the room on time.
✗ There is no hot water, and the rain is basically cold water. The privacy is a bit poor, but many hotels in oia have this problem.
✓ The breakfast was good, the view is just woow Special thanks to the guy in reception at night who was very welcoming and helped us a lot
✗ The price is very expensive for that kind of suites
✓ Breakfast is great. Location is good. Friendly staffs and offered great help to transportation from and to the airport.
✗ The shower place needs a curtain or screen to prevent water spread, particular to the room we stay.
✓ It’s in a very convenient location with min walks to sunset and nice restaurants breakfast is nice
✗ you actually cannot see the sunset or sunrise from the room. there is no window you can open in the room. if you do not go outside, you’re really in a cave. and even at the balcony from this location, there’s no view of sunset or sunrise. But you can walk just a few mins then you can see it. nonetheless, I would not have stayed in this place if I knew it because the price it costs for no view of sunset or sunrise is not worth it. staff is friendly but not very helpful.
✗ breakfast issue. i ordered but I couldn’t have anything and there is no supermarket near here...
✓ excellent location with beautiful views. Helpful staff. Breathtaking sunrise and sunset views.
✗ none
✓ I will give three points for the nice staff and two points for the good view.
✗ But the experience in Oia’s hotel is not worth the price. This can be a tiring journey if you have the same problems with me. 1. Luggage Difficulty: Don’t carry big suitcases to Oia. There are so many steep steps that we can not go downstairs with luggage. When we arrived at the bus stop, Google showed us a 5-minute-walk way. However it took us 50 minutes to finally get all our luggage downstairs to the reception. There was a closed door on the path so we had to climb over the fence to get through. Our luggage was stuck halfway, and we walked up and down twice to get the bellboy to the right location of our luggage. Moreover, we had to hang out in Oia with our luggage because we don’t want to walk up the steep stairs again. 2. Small Room: The room is small, and there is no luggage rack. The room seems to be a bit slanted, so some bath water flowed from the bathroom into the sitting room, which wetted our suitcases on the floor. 3. Poor management: The management of this hotel is far from a 4 star hotel standard. The location of the reception is hard to find, and it is not very close to our room. Also, there’s no installed telephone to call the reception from the room. The air conditioner is in the sitting room so the bedroom was not warm enough. When we felt cold and needed a blanket or extra duvet, the hotel can not offer anything. 4. Facility problem: The sockets are not designed in convenient positions, and one socket was not working well. The bathroom is small and gets smelly easily. I am not sure if the hotel changes water in the swimming pool. I checked the public pool twice, and it was always full of dead insects.
Each reservation is made on room type level, so the offer of a specific room cannot be guaranteed and is dependent on eventual availability upon arrival. However, we can note of any preference you have and we will certainly do our best to satisfy it.
We advise that the outdoor plunge pools are not heated. Only the indoor plunge pools are heated and of course the outdoor hot tubs as well.
We would like to inform you that the plunge pool is heated. Thank you very much.
