Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dallas South - DeSoto, an IHG Hotel

Good stay and service.

✓ Breakfast selections were good, especially liked the service from Sylvia (I believe that was here name).

✓ I stay here often and everyone is so nice especially Jesse the manager.

60th Birthday Party

✓ The room was a nice size and very clean.

✗ The AC in the meeting area for the party wasn't working properly.

Disappointing

✓ Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast area and kitchen were clean. Good breakfast variety. Pool area was nice and clean.

✗ Pretty warm in the hallways of the fourth floor(rooms were nice and cool). Customer service and critical thinking to make things right. No towels available for about an hour. Proper bed sheets were not available for the pull out bed in the suite.

I would give the staff a A’ the floor is a problem with me (carpet.

✓ the clerk would not accept my card and didn’t even try. I have stayed at a lot of IHG hotels and also have an account with them but I booked with Booking like I always do and never had this type of issue. I had to go across the street to see if they had a room for me.

Not happy with stay.

✗ Breakfast was bland, they had no brown sugar, cinnamon for oatmeal, when asked for sugar, could not speak English, finally looked at coffee bar and found sugar. Upon arrival had cool water in lobby, next day asked for water, stated guess we are out?? could you not fill up container?? booked a suite, was not suite quality, hotel needs to be updated. Had to walk outside to get to pool!?! Lots of noise.
