✓ Clean, Amy the owner was amazing, she offered me mango and allowed me to stay past check out time for a discounted price to accommodate for my flight. Also booked me a cab to the airport late in the evening.

✓ The woman who runs this place is very responsive on Whatsapp and speaks both English and Spanish. The guy who physically manages it is kind and helpful
✗ They have very strict policies. For one thing, you cannot have a guest over even if you booked a private room with a double bed. You also cannot bring any beer into the place. These policies were not written in Booking. It would be easy for them to update the "policies" or property description with these rules rather than surprising guests when we arrive. Fortunately, you can cancel for free until 6pm on your arrival day. But it still sucks to lose time and money taking a taxi there only to learn you can't actually use the room for a couple

✓ I enjoyed my stay at Casa Mokoron. the hosts were hospitable and could not do enough for us . Amy booked taxis for the great price and organised fresh brewed coffee even though it meant getting up very early in the morning. It has a homely artistic atmosphere and I certainly felt welcomed and at home.
✗ Hot showers but it didnt bother me too much as the weather in Managua is very hot.
