✓ Very good location , nice staff, clean , nice breakfast, it’s perfect for short stay .

✗ Bathroom is small but manageable, and it’s clean

Pleasant accommodations but very poor management Co.

✓ It was comfortable for the 3 of us. Room was clean, beds were decent, and we especially appreciated having a private (not shared) bathroom. The breakfast was simple but nicely presented with a pretty decent variety of food.

✗ The manager/owner was not the most accommodating. On first meeting her, she was rather abrupt with us. We got the feeling she did not care for foreigners. We rarely saw her or any other staff member, and she did not give us a means to contact her or anyone else in case we needed anything. Especially disconcerting was what happened on our last day. We were never given a procedure for check out. We had to leave early (7:30 am) to catch our plane. But when we went to check out, there was no one to leave the keys with. So we left them in the room. However, when we went to leave, we found the door to the hotel locked from the INSIDE!! We couldn’t get out, and now our keys were locked in the room! We tried calling the property number, but received a message saying the number was unavailable! Not knowing what to do, we went and rang the bell of the owner/manager’s office. But we got scolded by the woman who admonished us for waking her up!! What were we to do? When you own/manage a bed and breakfast, you or your staff must be available for your guests at all times, especially in case of emergencies! We would have written a much better review of this place if it hadn’t been for this incident. But if this is standard treatment by the owner/manager, then I would not recommend this as a place to stay, especially if you are a foreigner. This experience left us with a bad taste in our mouth for Ally’s Bed and Breakfast.

Good affordable no frills option

✓ Location, price, included breakfast, pleasant staff

✗ It’s a little tough to find, but a pleasant gentleman who was downstairs helped us out. Busy and loud street.

Good value for money

✓ Very clean room. Location is good if you don't want to be in the middle of the tourist madness but still at walking distance from the main attractions. The bed was comfortable and the room had AC, which is a must in Barcelona in summer periods.

A great 3 days in Barcelona. Location was great, facilities were great and the breakfast was good

✓ Property was a great location for seeing the sites in Barcelona. Everything within walking distance and close to the Hop On Hop Off bus tours.

I would definitely recommend staying at Ally’s - it is not the Ritz or the Marriott, but it is very clean and quaint. W

✓ Allys bed and breakfast is a guest house that is located within walking distance from the Sagrada. It was very quaint and cute. The room was very neat, tidy and clean. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional. The owner and her help. We’re very nice and accommodating.

✗ Everything was good. After reading some of the comments that were posted on Ally’s, I was leary to stay here. it was perfect.

Great value for money at Allys place

✓ It is close to Gaudi’s buildings and city centre. The staff are very nice and helpful.

✗ It is noisy at night because there is a bar downstairs.
