Hotel was accommodating and well maintained. You need to have good mobility to get around, not suitable for wheelchairs
✓ Great views if you had a sea view room. Breakfast had a lot of variety. All areas were clean.
✗ Too many stairs to climb. No long mirror in room or any hooks to hang towels. There were ants in the room.

Slightly overpriced for the experience, there are more exceptional boutique hotels on the island with a little more char
✓ The pool was beautiful and the loungers very comfy, everything was kept very clean and the area was very pretty. It is a very modern hotel and the reception staff were really helpful and kind and always had a smile on their faces.
✗ The private beach was very small and I had mistakenly thought the public beach was its ‘private’ beach. The public beach was a very short walk away so it wasn’t a problem and there the sea was easier to enter with it being sand and not slippery rocks ! It was also a shame the pool closed at 7pm as it seemed a little early and the fella putting the umbrellas down seemed keen that we moved on and away from the pool in good time. The staff in the breakfast restaurant did not seem to smile much but were perfectly helpful. We only stayed one night and were told we had been upgraded to the evening meal for free which was great but unfortunately as we didn’t know this we had already eaten in town which was a bit of a shame. A message during the day could’ve prepared us for this nice gesture! The in-house museum thing was slightly odd too, it didn’t seem to be fitting for a boutique hotel.

Relaxing, but go out for dinner, every day.
✓ Lovely setting, really nice rooms, really clean.
✗ Terrible service at overpriced restaurant (Lungo Mare). For nice but mains are pretentious and too small. Desserts are ludicrously overpriced. €17 for Pavlova!!! €4 for one small scoop of vanilla ice cream. Buffet restaurant OK but food ‘OK’ at best.

✗ You couldn’t get drinks during the day until 4pm unless you went to the food bar - no drinks other than wine really offered for room service either. The buffet breakfast was very mediocre -

Lovely week away in a great hotel
✓ Location great for sunsets, proximity to airport and visiting the west of the island. Hotel was immaculate, bar area was lovely and in a beautiful setting. Staff were great and eager to help.
✗ Layout of hotel was such that there was A LOT of walking up and down steps and ramps. Not a problem for us but it would be for those with mobility issues. Our room was lovely - one of the bungalows, but 0.24 of a mile from reception ! Our friends were in the main hotel building so although close to the restaurant and bar, the pool and private beach were some distance away which they felt was a shame. Only full fat milk available for breakfast (1st world problem !) Didn't try a la carte so can't comment on that - buffet food was good but we thought a little expensive at 35 euros each. We generally ate out in the local tavernas.

✗ as a solo traveller I felt unsafe walking a long way to my bungalow at night. also not a good set up for elderly or mobility issue guests. I bought 2 drinks at dinner to take back to my room and they said there was a bottle opener in my room..there wasn’t.

Hello there, Both Double Standard and Double Sea View rooms are located inside the Main Building. The rest of the room types are located in the Bungalows Wing. Best from Kefalonia!

There are two rows of rooms in the bungalows wing, the Bungalow Sea Front are located in the front and therefore enjoy premium views. The Bungalow Sea View are located just behind on higher grounds and therefore also benefit from beautiful sea views.
