✓ The Staff upon our early arrival. CARIN, you are worth your weight in gold.... exceptional customer service, nothing was too much trouble, and couldnt do enough for us. Thank you Carin so much. I didnt really have the opportunity to see other staff, owing to the odd times of my stay, but im sure the whole team Is just as welcoming and proficient! Hotel beautiful..... location .. just stunning! Facilities incredible... hot tub overlooking the lake was fabulous. The breakfast deserves its own mention... sooooo much variety, all top quality food, cooked perfectly, my compliments to the kitchen staff, and the cleaning staff.. the place was spotless! Room sizeable and very comfortable. I wish i could live in this place! Such a positive experience thanks to Carin and the whole team! Well done guys... I stay in 17 -23 hotels all across europe and the eastern block each month,and this is my favourite of all! I will Definitely be back!!!

✗ I have only one problem.... and its not really a problem, as I'm sure most people dont arrive on foot, as we had to... due to the early time of our arrival. Its up a very long steep hill, and i have a physical disability.. it nearly killed me... but that all melted away when we eventually got to the top, and sat outside the hotel, waiting for reception to open ( we got there about 6am) because of the tranquility of the place, and the breathtaking views. Rattvik is a beautiful place, and this hotel is runby beautiful people!

Classic and super comfortable

✓ Great breakfast, much to choose from. Room comfortable, with big shower, good ventilation, clean and fresh. Perfect location with lovely views over the lake.

✓ We really liked the the view from the restaurant and the bar. The staff was super helpful and friendly! Breakfast was tasty and the dinner at the restaurant was really good!

✗ The room was a little outdated and the scrambled eggs seemed a bit odd, but other than that everything was great.
