beautiful hotel in a great location...I would certainly stay there again.

✓ well located, extremely stylish and a great breakfast. Room and bathroom (213) on the small side but we only stayed one night so no big deal. Loved the decor throughout...lots of interesting items we have probably seen in the Maisons du Monde boutiques.

✓ Everything. Staff are lovely and helpful and the room was just perfect. Comfortable bed, great coffee maker, glorious view, fantastic decor and good selection on tv I would stay here again for sure.

✗ The restaurant recommendations… no no no. Is there any actual good food in La Rochelle? Because of there is it’s not being recommended by the hotel.

✗ it was loud. people were loud in the streets until 2-3 in the morning. my room received the noise dead on. my friends did not have the same experience.

The hotel is illegally using your money! Next time i will avoid this hotel.

✓ Location. Nice view from the window. Parking 2 minutes walk. But don't pay for parking at the hotel, paying for parking in the parking lot is cheaper (free parking at night).

✗ 1. Payment rules. Prior to arrival, the hotel debits the amount of 50% of the cost of the stay from the bank card. The deducted amount is not taken into account when paying for accommodation. The debited amount was refunded a month later. On 01/05/2023, The Hotel deducted 214 from my bank card (booking cost 460,28 euros). On 02/05/2023, when check-in, the amount of 460.28 euros was debited from the bank card, explaining that 214 euros is a blocking, which will be canceled the next day after the check-out. But the debited 214 euros were returned to my account only on 31/05/2023. In total, the hotel used my money for 30 days without any compensation and apologies. 2. The room is small and there is no place for suitcase and things. No hanger for jackets and raincoats. 3. Discomfort in the rooms. The door to the toilet opens inward and rests against the toilet when opened. It is very difficult to close the door while inside the toilet.

Great location

✓ Very central, right next to the iconic towers and with bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Friendly and helpful staff. Large public parking lot just around the corner.

✗ I was allocated a room right next to the lift (the second time this has happened on this trip) and I had to pay extra for a different room. That one was quieter, but anyone over about 5ft tall, like me, would not be able to stand in the shower, which is under a sloping roof. Otherwise the hotel is nice.
