✓ In the heart of the town. Really helpful staff. No prob with bikes.
✓ It's a family business with genuine history. Very welcoming host
✗ A little bit runner down. The rooms need to be renovated. The walls are very thin and one can hear the neighbors quite well Internet does not reach every room
✓ Clean. Comfortable beds. Good shower.
✗ A bit rough around the edges, slightly tired. Disappointing breakfast.
✓ Very good staff.
✓ The balcony is very nice The breakfast is very good. Helpful and friendly staff.
✗ No WiFi in the room. No tea or coffee maker. Very basic. The soundproofing.....you can hear every movement from above But fine for a night as it is clean and comfortable
✓ Very helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room Breakfast was simple but more than adequate, and good value. Overall good value accommodation
✓ It is an old-style and basic hotel that has survived many years of operation, with an excellent location in the heart of the small town (next to many restaurants and easy reach of many tourist attractions) - Adorable personnel, with plenty of history (5 generations, including the house pet Gaspard!) - Wonderful breakfast, in particular the crepes, reasonably priced (7.5E for adults, 5.5E for children if I remember correctly) - Swimming pool and the garden at the partner hotel were excellent (100m walk away) - The library on the 1st floor provided for a nice lobby for all (and good Wi-Fi and phone usage) - The room on the 4th floor (426) was spacious and received plenty of light despite just one window - Each floor has public WC, which was a nice addition
✗ Wi-Fi only available on floors 0 and 1 (which can be a good thing during your vacation), telephone signals are not strong in certain rooms so check prior to arrival if you need to use your phone a lot. - The sound isolation is bad (old structure) so if you have sensitive ears, bring your ear-plugs and ask for a room on a higher floor - The lift is stopped during the night (22h-) to avoid noise, which may be inconvenient for those who are mobility-challenged - The room on the 2nd floor (210) received almost no light, and there was no vapor evacuation in the bathroom. It is especially very loud as everyone passes by the room and is next to the lift. It is likely the cheapest room of the entire hotel. Not recommended. - Washer is not available. If you stay long like us, it would have been nice to be able to do some laundry.
✓ charming vintage hotel ( Wes Anderson style ! )
