Cosy place to stay on the suburbs of Mainz
✓ Spacious and comfortable room with fully equipped kitchen, including a fridge, electric kettle, and cutlery. Towels were provided. Unproblematic check-in and check-out independent of reception working hours
✗ Location far away from the centre and difficult to reach with public transport

Excellent, value for money
✓ The room in the hotel was equipped with a small kitchen, an en-suite bathroom and a comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean. The pension is less than a mile from the Rhine Cycle path so ideal for someone like me on a cycle touring holiday. Everything was self service, including checking in, which worried me at first but it all went smoothly.
✗ A specific safe place to keep my bike overnight. (In the end I took it into my room.)

✓ Peaceful place respected privacy having a coffee machine in the house clean toilet.
✗ As a tourist I'm not a fan of friendly neighborhood spiders. It might be normal to see them in Germans houses but personally don't like to wake up and see a spider is staring at me with his own 8 eyes. No hand-wash liquid was there. The shower doors seals was old and after every time that you take a shower you must clean the floor or else you'll ruin the whole room
