✗ Upon arrival, a manager was yelling about for all to hear & see. I considered that attitude unprofessional. Such behavior belongs behind doors.

Very comfortable at an affordable price
✓ We were staying in 4 person's apartment. Big room and bathroom with a big shower. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast with lot of choices.

✓ location. good dinner at restaurant. Wonderful thoughtful, helpful, kind Elio who we met on the morning of our departure.
✗ no wifi in the rooms. we were told upon arrival that it was only available in the uncomfortable public reception area. on the morning of our departure Elio told us it was also available in a very pleasant comfortable sitting room that we had not been shown upon arrival. first impressions count and our first impression was not good. wish we’d met Elio upon arrival.

✓ This hotel is very good. It is well located especially for those who are walking on the Via Francigena. Trail on the door step.The dinner was exceptional and they have a great chef.
✗ The staff in general were very obliging. But the morning receptionist on my departure day was very unpleasant. He tried to force an issue which was unnecessary and accused me of not trusting him.
