Dirty and run down

✓ Staff were friendly

✗ Rooms were very dirty - we moved rooms, but little better. Walls stained, smelt musty and no maintenance done in years. Hotel offered cleaning equipment to DIY the cleaning!

Utterly awful and even for the expense was a waste of money.

✗ Everything. As our taxi driver dropped us off at the hotel he warned us not to be outside the hotel at night as it is a very dangerous area. On entering reception there was an immense smell of BO. And a lady was complaining that her luggage which was meant to be locked in a safe room had been taken to the airport by mistake. This certainly didn’t fill me with confidence. Our room had no electricity which was eventually sorted out. The bathroom ceiling was mouldy, there was no toilet seat, and with the room window open as it was a warm night you stood little chance of any sleep as the road noise was continuous from passing traffic throughout the night. We were meant to be there for 3 nights. We stayed for barely 12 hrs. Dreadful.

✓ Location was really good. Easy to get metro or tram routes & get around the city.

✗ No air conditioning in room and the fan provided was created less breeze then my friend snoring.

✓ Helpful, multilingual check-in staff. Very good value for money. Useful kitchenette. Supermarket next door.

✗ There was a lot of cockroaches inside my room, walls was dirty with something brown, bathroom stank with dumpness, lamp near bed didn't work. Also there was no air conditioning but apart's windows looked directly on a loud street
