Comfortable stay

✓ Beautiful setting, eclectic furnishing. Bathroom lovely. Plenty of parking. Dinner beautifully cooked and very tasty.

✗ Not being pre warned that dinner was a dinner party style for which we were not expecting. Our fellow diners however were good company but overall not what we would have wished to do and for which we were unprepared. This we were told was a fault of booking.com. The food was lovely and beautifully cooked.

Fabulous

✓ Location, facilities, and staff were superb. Rooms are very clean and spacious (with a taster of local whisky as bonus!). Staff was very helpful and welcoming, went over, and behoinds to assist. Good choice of pillows. Great night sleep as it is a very quiet location.

✗ Just a personal choice, I would have preferred a more firm mamaterass, but as said, this is a personal preference.

We would book this accommodation again without hesitation.

✓ The house is set in a beautiful loch side location and the walk down to the loch was pleasant and comfortable. The rooms were very big, spacious, comfortable with large en suite bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent and all tastes catered for. Would definitely use it again.

✗ I suspect we may have had problems getting an evening meal without pre booking. However, this appeared to be normal for September in The highlands of Scotland. Fortunately we had eaten before arriving at the house.

A gourmet evening in fabulous surroundings

✓ Very comfortable sitting in lounge or dining room. You feel luxuriously at home with views across the loch. Interesting art work. Very pleasant host. Fabulous evening meal.
