Great location for when staying in Salerno.
✓ Great location, comfortable and clean. Lovely sitting on the balcony overlooking the piazza below. Easily accessible to shops, restaurants and train station.

Good location, unfortunately seems like a scam
✓ We really liked the location, which was very close to the centrum and all restaurants etc.
✗ We actually had a pretty decent stay. Breakfast options i.e. crackers, jams/butters etc. were available, but we preferred to get fresh foods in the nearby streets ourselves. Afterwards, we received a message from the owner (which we hadn't seen during our whole stay) claiming we took ornaments and damaged the room. There were no questions asked, just basically a demand we owe her EUR 1600,00 (!!!) based on an assumption we took snow globes that were put on display in the room and apparently there was a penmark on the room where my son slept. To make it clear: we did not take any snowglobe (who steals that?) and we did not do any damage. But after going backwards and forwards via messaging and threatening to 'report' us, we were absolutely stunned how this was handled. So many things could've been handled completely differently. The cleaners left the rooms mostly open while cleaning, and when upon arrival and got in our room, there was another family of 5 relaxing in our room, perhaps check with your staff properly, make better and/or clearer arrangements before travelers arrive and be more present as the owner yourself before you throw accusations?

✓ We had a great stay at Portanova. The communication was very easy via messaging, it was clean, spacious and the terrace was amazing! The air-condition worked well. It is located very central in walking distance to port, central station and the sights of Salerno. We could leave our bags at the B&B after check out and pick them up later. Mille Grazie!

In the structure there are no laundries for guests, but in the immediate vicinity of the B&b you can find laundries also coin operated
