Wonderful stay by the water
✓ Spacious room with private balcony (hammock and chairs). 2 ceiling fans. Mosquito nets on all windows. Beautiful wooden buildings. You can swim just by the restaurant and the water is great. Food is good although a bit pricey. They bring you to town through a short boat ride free of charge. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
✗ Restaurant closing at 7pm. A bit noisy at night, coming from a hotel (?) nearby (loud music).

✓ I loved everything about my stay at Tortugal. From the staff, service, attention, food, grounds, lodging, and peacefulness. Angela, Leo, and Rudy were amazing. They went above and beyond to make us feel like stars!!

Friendly staff, relaxing location
✓ The river front room was spacious, clean and just as pictured. The two ceiling fans did a great job of making the temperature comfortable for sleeping at night. The hammock on the porch provided a nice secluded spot for relaxing. The room was protected by good screens so mosquitos weren’t an issue. There was easy access to filtered water in the restaurant and closer to the cabanas. There was also a really nice boardwalk through the jungle to the town. The staff was super helpful both before and during the stay. The Rio Dulce area can be a little confusing with regards to transportation, so it was good to have help. The Hotel is home to a number of boaters which made from some great story swapping at the bar in the evening.
✗ All good - would definitely go back in the future. Wish I had taken more pictures to show how great it is.

Perfect stay at Rio Dulce
✓ everything! The place is tidy, clean, in a perfect shape and the rooms are lovely. We got a different room than booked and it was a wonderful stay in a two bedrooms with a private bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the little balcony was great to enjoy first thing in the morning. The included breakfast was great and there was endless coffee & tea in the morning. It was the perfect stay at Rio Dulce with a nice restaurant and lovely people. We clearly enjoyed the sunrise each and every day. Pablo & Garcia (the dogs living at the property) are the cutest! Instead of one night, we stayed three and we hope to come back.

Our boat does not go further than the town dock. We can arrange a private water taxi for you. You can always catch the local water taxi to Livingston then you can take the tuc tuc to Playa Blanca . The water taxi is Q125 one way Which airport ?

We are on the river banks. The hotel does not have guest parking. We rent two parking bays in a secure parking lot. You need to use the following place in Google maps Restaurant - El Viajero

Dear Fabio Parking spaces are for hotel guests and are at a 1st come basis . Unfortunately when you leave the hotel you need to move your car. The parking lot does have space should you want to leave your car. They will charge you roughly 50Qpn
