✓ The location right above the port is great --- you can see all of the port and boats coming in and out. The view of the sunrise in the morning from my little balcony was a special treat. Owners were always helpful and friendly --- they made my visit very special. Efaristo!!
✗ Lots of stairs -- so beware if that would be an issue. Bathroom is teeny tiny.

✓ Akti is the perfect place to stay in ikaria! Location is perfect, right in center of the island, one of the only places where the bus take you from the airport and there's also a port - probably the most accessible place in the area. The hotel has its own coffee/bar with delicious food and opened until 2am, so you always have facilities. And most of all: the owners are SO nice! They'll take care of you as you're part of the family, you feel helped, welcome, and have great laughs! Recommend so much ♡
