✓ Fantastic host and a fantastic apartment, subway access directly in front of the building, great breakfast, very comfy beds.
✓ Wonderful coizy hotel in the Lisbon center. Excellent location near train station and metro. Quiet and very clean room with comfortable bed. Very delicious, healthy breakfast. And of course, unbelievable hospitality of the owner, Gaspar. Gaspar helped me on my way from airport and gave me a lot of valuable advice for my trip. I felt there as I was home. All reviews about this hotel on Booking are totally true. All thanks to Gaspar. I'll stay only in Gaspar House my next time in Lisbon
✗ Nothing
✓ Very warm welcome from Gaspar to the stylish, comfortable property.
✗ Far from the centre - a pro if you’re after a quiet night’s sleep though.
✓ Gaspar is the most superb host imaginable. He is extraordinarily hospitable, warm and accommodating, with so many wonderful recommendations for Lisbon and beyond. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable, and the breakfast is delightful. The location is also very convenient- close to airport, train station and subway. the elevator in the building is really cool too! Such a charming place to stay.
✗ I would recommend to stay in a room overlooking the courtyard as opposed to the street, just for a more quiet atmosphere.
✓ My stay at Gaspar House was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was beautiful, the room and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable, and the location could not be better, with a metro stop right outside of the building. Most importantly, Gaspar was truly a great host. I arrived late in the evening and he was very gracious about my arrival time. He was there to check me in and provided useful information for my stay in Lisbon, including a map of the metro. During my stay, he was always available to answer questions and gave great recommendations for places to visit and eat. Breakfast was delicious, and included honey produced by Gaspar's family. Gaspar was also very attentive to guests' needs, making sure we had everything we needed for breakfast. In addition to being a very nice and warm person, he's also a polyglot and was able to speak with guests in English, French, German, and Spanish! I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Gaspar House, and I hope I can stay there again the next time I visit Lisbon!
✓ Everything. The location was fantastic as it was minutes from the Metro and a couple of shops. Gaspar (the host) was amazing, super helpful with suggestions on what to do, and the house is beautiful.
✗ Nothing!!!!
✓ the locality and specially the host!
✗ there was nothing that I did not like.
✓ Gaspar is a very welcoming host, and the room was quiet and comfortable. He’s very knowledgeable about the places to visit and eat and will steer you away from the crowds. Breakfast was served in the morning and another guest, Gaspar, and me enjoyed each other’s company while we ate breakfast pastries with his mother’s strawberry jam and his family’s honey. One of the highlights of my trip. Other than that, I felt the bathroom facilities were excellent.
✗ The lobby isn’t well-lit so it may be difficult to locate the elevator if you’re arriving at night.
Thank you for choosing Gaspar House. No problem with that issue. Greetings from Lisbon, Gaspar
