✗ The distance from the town, the explanation about breakfast wasn’t very good.

Excellent value for money in a Parador setting.

✓ The hotel was in a good location for Albacete with free parking. It was clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Great to have a cafeteria serving meals all day.

✓ The room was very nice, in keeping with the theme of a ranch. The cafeteria was accessed through the restaurant from the hotel which was not comfortable. The food the the first night was good but very bad on the second night, obviously a different chef who was not as competent.

✗ The pool and garden grounds were all very sparse, far more effort could have been made to add colour with more bushes and flowers. Paradors are a walk through history and there could have been more evidence of what the building once was. The building is also in need of repainting

✓ Another great 10 day stay! Impeccable cleanliness is the hallmark of the hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned every day. Towels are always fresh, shampoos, soaps, shower gels are always filled. During the entire stay, I was never disturbed with the offer to "wipe the dust." Rooms are cleaned only in your absence. Delicious and varied breakfasts, a large selection of fresh fruits. Both bottled drinks and freshly squeezed juices are available. Stylishly decorated appetizers and desserts. Especially this year I liked mozzarella (I guess) with salmon. Coffee - OMG! Probably the best in the area. Strong and always paired with a jug of warm milk. A special feature of the season is the pool! Everyday From 11:00 to 20:30 you can sunbathe and swim. Sunbeds and towels are included in the price. The water in the pool is the cleanest, which is important - not chlorinated, but slightly salty. Spacious and free car parking. Well maintained area around the hotel. Very cozy courtyard with a fountain. Respectable guests, friendly staff.

✗ The noise from cars passing on the motorway is still noticeable, although the Hotel is located at some distance from the Highway. Especially if you weren't lucky to get a "garden view " room. At first, I got just such a number. This somewhat spoiled the pleasure of sitting on the balcony in the evenings. In addition, this part of the building had a very weak WiFi that often just disappeared. The staff responded to my request and changed my room to another one overlooking the garden. Everything was in order there. Hotel staff, trying to keep guests from being bothered by insects, sometimes overdid it with citrus-flavored biocidal aerosols. The room immediately after treatment resembled a gas chamber :) But here you really have to choose - either a slight smell of lemon, or annoying mosquitoes.

✓ The facilities are well kept and beautiful. The room was large and comfortable with all necessary appointments.

✗ Breakfast and dinner were quite unorganized. I think the language barrier (very few staff speak English) caused uncertainty or misunderstandings that were solved by assumptions instead of asking again. For breakfast this wasn't really an issue but the dinner was disturbed several times because of misunderstandings of orders and requests. The staff were very friendly and wanted to help but just seemed very uncomfortable to do it either in English or work together with our (very) broken attempts at Spanish.
