It was a great apartment overall, spacious, clean and comfortable for a decent price.
✓ Nice-looking building, spacious apartment, nice display inside, clean room and bathroom, quite soundproof, easy to get the code and then live an independant life, useful kettle ;-)
✗ The bed and the bedding were pretty basic, not a lot of windows, slightly remote from downtown (even though I was fine with that during this particular stay...).

Fine for a night
✓ I’m a Tintin fan, so pleasantly surprised to have the Tintin theme (I was in the Calculus room)
✗ The bed was really squeaky and the location wasn’t the best but what can you expect for €38 per night

Convenient and adequate accommodation for a night
✓ Easy to find, street parking right outside. Efficient access, virtual reception. Space small but adequate.
✗ The bath towels were damp. The floor was a little gritty and there was a plastic mattress cover with a nonfitted sheet on top - a bit uncomfortable. It was a little noisy (yappy dog!)

Pleasant
✓ Nive room. Nice interior of the building, with an Andalucian patio, a Tintin theme, and a garden, with swimming pool. In an agreeable suburb, on a square with trees. I did not have any trouble finding a parking space (though the trees generate lots of bird poo).
✗ The system for taking payment is poor. The hotel do not use booking.com’s payment system, but instead use another one, which is complicated for the customer to use, and which apparently does not tell the hotel management whether payment has been made until a day or two after the payment. As a result, the hotel asked me to pay three times for two nights, just in case the payment did not work! I did not find it particularly easy to find restaurants nearby; eventually I found the cafeteria Zeus, which was OK for breakfast.

Good value stay, but multiple things could be improved
✓ I booked the room with single bed and the actual room was good in general. There is very nice garden with pool and it is open from 10 am till 10 pm. The price was reasonable, there is a lot of space for free parking outside. The check-in was contactless and clear instructions were sent how to enter the hotel and the room etc.
✗ Aircon was not working in my room and it was pretty hot during the night. The bed was not stable on all the feets. There were a kettle and cup for tea, but no actual tea, so almost pintles to have it. What I really didn't like is that the payment was declined (I believe that was done intentionally) and it was requested to pay via external link sent by message, which does not look safe. And the last thing is that all the information and instructions were in Spanish, so for some people it could be a big problem.

Good Morning, Your reservation is NON REFUNDABLE, for 05/09/2020, it is still more than a month away, and we hope that the state of alarm, effective until 04/11/2020, for this date we hope that everything has returned to normal, and is allowed to travel without any problem.
