Great location and view, but you can find much nicer in Matera

✓ The apartment location is amazing and very close to popular sites, piazzas, restaurants, and bars. The beds were very comfortable and both the bedroom and bathrooms feel clean. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and such a nice perk!

✗ The apartment looks a little dirty overall and could use a fresh coat of paint with scuffs all over the walls/floors. The front door was a little sketchy and had looked like it was broken into recently where one of the locks was broken and then the door had a crowbar indent at the bottom, so we didn't feel safe on our first night, but afterward it felt fine. The noise around the apartment is pretty loud and you can be heard all throughout the apartment (we're from NYC so we didn't care about that, but wanted to call out for those looking for a quiet place). My last comment is that it appears that the American Booking.com site still has listed that this apartment has a washing machine, while the Italian site does not. We had booked this apartment specifically because it had a washing machine so we were very disappointed to find out that it didn't, but again just wanting to call that out so others booking in the future aren't confused.

Awesome apartment in Matera

✓ The location is perfect to explore Matera. There are 2 terraces with a great view. The apartment is super comfortable and has everything one might need. It’s clean and very well stocked. The bathrooms are extra large with awesome showers. Highly recommended

✗ The check in was rushed and they girl wasn’t sure of the type of booking and had to verify! Everything was sent by what’s app; lacked the personal touch.

Magnificent view, comfortable room

✓ We were in different room because of some problems with the one we booked. The place were great, very comfortable room with magnificent view, very polite host, good breakfast. Location was perfect.
