A luxurious stay in a beautiful hotel in breathtaking Arashiyama.
✓ A quiet and beautiful respite from the city. The garden and river views are lovely and the free champagne at the waterfront cafe after a long day of walking was greatly appreciated. The staff were welcoming and helpful every step of the way.
✗ Would have liked to know that visits to the on site onsen require a reservation.

✓ the staff were amazing. the facility was great. arashiyama is beautiful
✗ way too expensive. meals are overpriced and I felt robbed by the cost of laundry. I paid the same price for a gorgeous hotel 36 floors above Tokyo station and some of their individual facilities and meals were half the price as suiran

Suiran, Gyokuto, Togetsu, Akatokitsuyu, Shirosumire, and Yuzunoha have open-air onsen bath in those rooms. Kyotsukikoto has inside onsen bath in the room.

Thank you very much for your reply. KYOTSUKIKOTO Japanese Style Premier Room is only one room that we have. YUZUNOHA deluxe room has tatami floor space, but the room is able to accommodate 3 guests. For the breakfast, it will be the set menu and you can choose Western style or Japanese style. It costs JPY 5,060 including tax and service charge per person.
