Fabulous

✓ I stayed at Chandi Gaya Beachhouse for the second time. You are two meters aways from the beach and sleep with the sound of the waves and wake up to a beach view. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The price is really good for what you get. Chandi has been the best host during our Sri Lanka trip, she is very fun and caring. We took our breakfast at the accomodation and our lunch the food was very delicious.

✗ If you are scared of insects I would recommend not to choose the top floor room. While it feels amazing to sleep up in the palms and have a direct see view, it can attract some little visitors at night...

Guesthouse with amazing view and kind owners directly at the beach

✓ Nice homestay at Tangalle beach with very kind owners. Very basic rooms which are very generous with big beds and mosquito nets! Nice terrace in front of the rooms and very nice spot directly at the sea side for breakfast / other meals and drinks with only some stones separating you from the beach. Very tasty restaurant next to the homestay for dinner with adorable owners.

✗ Room was unfortunatly a bit dirty with dust and spider webs - maybe not used for a longer time due to some ongoing construction work at the guesthouse. Also a bit more storage area would be helpful.

✓ The family there were amazing, made us the most delicious breakfast and gave us advice for activities to do. The location was fab, very basic but good value for money and beautiful views.

✓ Location on the beach was great, the family and food also. They wax a problem with the water pipes but this was fixed the same day. The place as real potential

✗ No wifi...dont let this put you off just email them 1st to see if they have been reconnected Been shut for two yrs due to covid but needs some major tlc thoughout
