Welcome break after ferry crossing and before long onward drive.

I arrived late at night after ferry crossing as arranged. Welcomed by friendly host and all facilities in place. Comfy sleep. Lovely breakfast freshly cooked. Environment was lovely in a great location. Will definitely use again and would recommend.

I didn’t ask but wasn’t sure whether wi fi was available. There wasn’t any thing else to suggest as the whole experience was very positive

Friendly helpful host, good breakfast in nice breakfast room.

The sheets smelt lovely and fresh. The room was clean and comfortable.

You can hear other guests as the building comes to life in the morning, thus didn't over bother me but some may mind.

Welcoming guesthouse that more than met our requirements.

It was large enough for 3 to share, very clean, well decorated, the host waited up to greet us after we arrived on the 11pm ferry and the breakfast that was included was fabulous. All in all wonderful & sorry we didn’t have more time to spend there.

As we were 3 adults the bunk beds in the second, smaller room were possibly more suitable for children but other than that it more than met our requirements and it was great to have that second room.

Clean, comfortable stay that worked with the scheduled evening ferry. Met on arrival and facilities were good.

Location for accessing the Fishguard Ferry. Accommodated the scheduled late arrival of the evening ferry. Comfortable bed and good sized en-suite bathroom. Ample parking.

Some late night noise from another property. Sounded like some form of entertainment going on well past 2330.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q

Hi just realised I have booked for Sunday instead of Monday . Have you a room available for the 4th ?

If we can assist with room changes despite being in the cancellation policy window we will surely assist. We have decided on this occasion to simply move your reservation to the following day without charges. Thanks and welcome soon. Mark & Jan

Q

Hi, I noticed in one of your reviews that you are quite flexible with a late check in. Our ferry isn't due in to FIshguard until 11pm on Saturday the 22nd July, if that is okay with you I will be happy to book a room, Kind regards, Paul.

Hi Paul, we manage guest circumstances on a case by case basis so call if you need further clarification or help with this regard. Thanks and kind regards, Mark & Jan

Q

hi, My brother and his 16 yr old grandaughter is travelling to Ireland at the end of june, he will need 2 rooms, do you have rooms close to each other

Dear friend, your brother will need to look up details of rooms and their configuration. Generally. numbers run in sequence so 2 is next to 1 etc. Please be mindful that there is a minimum age for guests stayong alone without parents.

Q

My hubby & I are looking at catching the 7.30pm ferry from Rosslare to Fishguard September 24th. Unfortunately it doesn't arrive in Fishguard until 11pm. Of course we then need to get (us & our car) off the ferry. Is it still possible to book with you? Regards Julie

Dear wifey and hubby, we are watching the arrival times of Stena which I believe change in June, unfortunately they don't inform us directly. So new faster boat and arrival may be quicker too! We will always make provisions to welcome our guests.

Q

Can you tell me what you offer for breakfast please? Thank you 😊.

Thanks for the question. Please look on our site and you will see pictures of our breakfast buffet and plates services. Is there something in particular that you were after? We can handle that too.

Q

I’m looking to book a night in September for 2 adults and 2 kids. can you advise which rooms do not allow pets as me and my kids are allergic to dogs

Yes, we have very few dogs these days but you may want to choose Room 5 family room or stay clear of Rooms 8, 9, 10, 11 and 14. Thank you.

Q

I have a Landrover discovery with car trailer is Parking available for us on 28 September

Thanks for your message. There is always parking availability BUT is it possible to unhook the trailer if necessary? It should all work out. Kind regards, Mark & Jan

Q

We are in Ireland trying to bring forward our return ferry booking to Monday 22 nd but do not want to do so until I can book a room in Fishguard. Is it easy to cancel our reservation if we cannot change our ferry. We have no phone signal here.

There is a cancellation window so please observe this if thinking of changing dates.

Q
