Convenient hotel for university visit, solid franchise hotel
✓ Excellent location for visiting the University Nice restaurant/breakfast area + good breakfast Large rooms Well equipped and in good condition.
✗ Micro room climate suboptimal = regulation with limited impact (but manageable) Staff could be more on 4* level (however nice and efficient) Mattress is soft, sensitive sleepers might not like it (I didn’t, but still manageable) „Welcome water“ in room not free, but offered at 5.50€, dear Mercure: you can do better than that!

Fabulous
✓ Room was great and promoted green energy. Rewarded for not needing daily clean/new sheets/new towels. Excellent location, right on the river with lots of nice bars and restaurants in walking distance.
✗ Needed a better iron and ironing board. Double bed but with two single duvets.

Good value for money
✓ Great room quality, solidly built and with a good level of sound proofing. The pillows were of decent quality. The breakfast was also very good.
✗ The car park was a little bit difficult, as there was a dedicated parking area for guests but it wasnt clear how to get in to it. In addition, the exit ticket which was issued by the hotel did not work.
