✓ Wonderful pool, beach. Quiet hotel Good food, bar. Wonderful breakfast
✗ No activities, special occasions. Mosquitos problem
✓ The hotel is right on the beach which is great and if you get one of the more expensive rooms they are large. I only stayed one night and got good service from my waiter who looked after me. The food was tasty.
✗ The initial experience of booking the hotel didn't go well as my pre-arranged airport transfer with the hotel did not arrive. This despite my local colleague calling and confirming the booking the day before. In the end after calling the hotel they advised they were "unable to locate the Driver". In my room, the sink and the shower were both blocked, suggesting that maintenance is not always a priority. The front-desk is understaffed and there is only one person working it. If they get called away for some other purpose you are left wondering if anyone is working the front desk at all as there is no communication. Immediately behind the front desk there is an office at the rear with a glass window were a Manager sits. But if you think she is going to come out of there and either tell you that someone is going to come soon or God forbid, come out and serve you, think again. Food was tasty, but small. My least favourite aspect of this hotel is that I had invited a work colleague to come to the hotel for a meeting but the front desk wouldn't allow her in without paying 15,000 shillings for the privilege! I ordered the burger which was good, but it was small the number of fries served weren't far away from being a Prime Number.
✓ I realy like the breakfast, it was hot and tasted very good.
✗ My room tv didn't work well at all.
✓ Located on the beach, with great views. I got a room with a view and a comfortable mattress. Breakfast had a good selection if you arrived on time. A young man and woman on the breakfast staff were very helpful and doing their best which set them apart from the more senior staff there. The hotel has seen much better days but at its current price it is good value for money. Staff at the bar were helpful. Safe in the room.
✗ Staff (other than the two people mentioned above) at breakfast were not helpful at all. They made me feel like asking for anything that was missing from the buffet was a crime. Water was mostly unavailable at breakfast. When I asked for a refill once I got it once I was told that water for breakfast was finished and I can buy my own if I want some.
✓ Great beds, nice views and beach. Staff were pleasant.
✗ Several issues with the room, door wouldn't open properly, tv wouldn't work and almost no amenities so i was glad i brought my own. A fair number more issues but i won't list them except i thick they use ketchup for the pizza sauce 🤔
✗ The room need some renovation
✓ The eifii did not function in the room
✗ Provide WiFi in the hotel room.
✓ Especially the good service, excellent breakfast and ofcourse the beautiful location just by the sea.
