a nice place to stay
✓ after my apartment being cancelled at the last minute, I had to find a room that night, I found Star hostel and it was great, really friendly receptionist, and the room clean and comfortable, would not normally look at staying at a hostel but for sure will come back and stay again

Exceptional in every way.
✓ Everything was amazing. Roger and Bob were absolutely amazing. They were super helpful and friendly. Everything was just perfect. The accommodation was easy to find and very close to the bus routes. It had great facilities too. I will definitely stay there again when I go back to Milan.

Get a night shift worker.
✓ We liked the price, that's why we took the deal. The guy at the reception was helpful. He was one of rare redeeming qualities of the hostel.
✗ Location was remote, but we were aware of that. Otherwise, they didn't offer any clean towels, bathrooms weren't as clean as they should have been. The hostel had a stupid policy of closing down the reception at 0:30 and opening at 9:30. Because, when the reception is closed, there's no way to enter the hostel. So we were forced to abide by the rules, otherwise we would be forced to sleep in the street. So we couldn't go out and explore/experience Milano nightlife without worrying about our curfew and whatnot.

✓ very clean hostel, Rogeh very dear and receptive. Location right next to San Siro metro station. The Hostel is located in a privileged residential area with many trees around. The place is very quiet, which I loved.
✗ only thing that wasn't so nice is that it was very hot and the room has only fans and quite a lot of mosquitoes.
